We have the brand, distribution and traction to do so but in order to create meaningful physical presence in specific cities, we are bringing on city leads to be the central nodes of our city hubs around the world.

About the role

This is probably the most unique role we will ever bring on. As a city lead you:

• Get to be the central node of the best founders across an entire city ecosystem
• Be a warm connection to all members and get exposed to networking upwards with our impressive group of Chapter 1 members and build relationships with high potential up-and-comers in Chapter 0.
• ⁠Use the Next Chapter brand to house your network and build relationships to grow alongside other members
• Have first access to the Next Chapter network for future opportunities such as jumpstarting your own fundraise, accessing high quality talent and deal flow and learning from experienced founders
• ⁠Be a part of Next Chapter’s growth with multiple city hubs across the world and a core team member in strategic thinking and decision making

Role requirements

• Engage and be a pillar that connects your local chapter and startup ecosystem
• Host 3 welcome events per year alongside our tri-yearly intake schedule
• Vet community members and decide who joins the community by partaking in interviews with applicants during intake periods
• Own the recruitment and growth function within your local chapter

We are looking for someone who is insanely ambitious, entrenched in the world of entrepreneurship, sees the value of building network and bringing people together and is on the pursuit of brilliance.

We see this role as compatible with an existing full-time job and can be the launchpad to your next thing or supplement a coinciding role.
